Ninety-nine is a number that contains many other numbers, having the foresight to keep them all together to finally obtain a single great result. Ninety-nine, moreover, in some historical contexts has been more than a number, becoming in fact a symbol, as in the case of the great Abruzzo monument carried out in the city of L'Aquila. Starting from something that already happened is a valid lesson, especially when this is supported by tradition and beauty written in history books.
The choice of having the "ninety-nine spouts" like in L’Aquila as a symbol lies in the purpose the operation wants to have. In about 1200, the lords of ninety-nine different castles joined forces to found a modern civic community in L'Aquila, finding in the Fontana della Rivera their common and shared mark.
