Lanterna

DESIGNER: Enzo Ceglie
COMPANY: Progetto Marmi di Talamo Antonio
MATERIALS: Carrara marble | Stainless Steel | Sandblasted glass

The Lanterna outdoor table was designed to make marble like a light and enveloping shell. Supporting the great lithic plan is not a sturdy structure but a metal tube, in a delicate balance configuration between the physical and structural qualities of the connected materials. The top is created thanks to the combination of several slabs that allows great dimensional flexibility and facilitating transport. In the evening, an empty marble cylinder placed in a corner lights up thanks to a led strip with rechargeable lithium battery, which is inside.
