“Frammenti di luce” is a light source and presents a body fragmented by light, which illuminates the uneven surfaces of the stone first split and then reassembled on a base. The ability of an object to transfer form and meaning lies in the very nature of the material. The stone, removed from the quarry, tries to return its essence through the reverberation of light preserved and fed in time. "Oraculum" is the voice of the stone that gives an answer to a question. The body of the seat is worked by intersecting paths, continuous along the mantle, creating shapes similar to eyes and ears. Taking advantage of the cuts in the material, the air channeled through the fissures retraces the surfaces, sometimes smooth sometimes curved, to tell the story of a place.
“Il fluire della pietra” is a source of water that relates the nature of the stone, through its crust, and the artifice, represented by the processing of the machine. The cracks that run along the surfaces show the water that flows on the irregular planes of the main body.
A block of stone overlaps a portion of crust, allowing the rough surface of the underlying material and in some cases the vegetation to be seen through the holes. The upper element represents the artifice and is worked with a geometric design that houses the sessions.
