In this experimentation, the architect Raffaello Galiotto wanted to reproduce the image of a sponge. Spongia is formed with a block of Maljat and the original dimension is 2.50 m * 1.25 m * 1.10 m. After the roughing phase, a light bulb tool has been used around the surface to leave a series of stone ridges by subtraction. The processing includes the finishing phase: the tool passage manages the model also from the aesthetic point of view.

That is the result of a distinctly creative and inevitably complex work.
