The stone sculpture Stadtsilhouette is a collective work realized by 40 Italian stonemasons and designed by Max Dudler in collaboration with Simone Boldrin. The sculpture was exhibited in Verona at Marmomacc 2016, International Fair of Marble. A total of 22 m³ of limestone were worked. Stadtsilhouette shows the profile of a city represented as a multi-faceted scenario according to the political design of Max Dudler's architecture.
The sculpture, made up with Apricena stone blocks (flowery-K66) reaches dimensions of 4.50 mx 4.50 m x 4.50 m. A world of stone entirely defined through the architecture. In profile the sculpture appears almost flat, two-dimensional, but as the angle change, an urban panorama of complex stone opens up in front of the observer's eyes. The city appears as a theatrical backdrop, stage and a background.
